3rd Grade Newsletter
*The students continued writing business letters this week. They worked on revising, editing and publishing.
*They also worked on using pronouns correctly.
*Please continue to read with your child throughout the rest of the year. Your child should still be reading 20 minutes every night.
*The last day of SFA reading is May 19th. The third grade will then work on a unit about life cycles.
We worked on these skills in math this week:
Each class is working on different skills throughout the week based on the weekly math assessments. Please check your child’s math assessment to see what he/she needs to work on.
*We will be taking another walking field trip on Friday, May 21st. We will be going to Alpine Bank, the museum and the cemetery. Please make sure your child brings at least two water bottles, a sack lunch, appropriate walking shoes, and appropriate clothing. We would love to have you join us.
